It’s Christmas but I ‘m not feeling it
it doesn’t feel like it anymore
it’s not the same as it’d been before
and I ‘m blue because I ‘m missing it

I got the blues, the Christmas Blues
due to little bits of this and that
sure looks like I ‘m growing up
that’s why I ‘m feeling the Christmas Blues

Since I ‘m not getting any younger, fair
seems I won’t feel the Christmas spirit then
I guess the only way to get the feeling back again
is have little children to take me there

Mind Left In A Dream

I ‘ve left my mind inside a dream
and nothing can get it out
even the hard reality sometimes
is struggling for it to come around

And I am willing to pursue that dream
as long as it doesn’t kill me in the end
for I wish it was easy to fulfill it
and didn’t have my early life to bend

If too hard I ‘ll sacrifice the dream
it’s not worth to lose my mind for it
just to fulfill it and then what?
if I ‘ll be happy I don’t know it

How do I get my mind out of the dream
can I do it or will I become empty inside
because it provokes passion and desire
for me to continue its lonely ride

I looked at the horizon
and saw you coming with a rifle
I looked inside your eyes
you were about to take lives

There was a time you could forgive
but you fed up with all this shit
and couldn’t care less about them all
they took your everything and left you fall

Now you want them dead
doesn’t help you if they are just hurt
you really want them dead
for fear to be spread

But freedom based on fear is not freedom at all
their minds are like that they will come back
they will force you to pay for their greedy perks
and they will get what you ‘ve earned with your bare hands

I looked at the horizon
and saw you leaving with a rifle
I looked at the world behind you
you couldn’t fix it the way I wanted to

And here I am being with friends
playing the guitar while someone says
“I wish he ‘d show up in a mood full of joy
he ‘d say: play High Hopes by a band named Pink Floyd”

I wanted to finish all my thoughts
but there was no time at all
I needed to focus on only two songs
as if one wasn’t enough at all

So I did.

I felt I had to push my self forwards
to make me a better candidate
but I managed to turn my self inwards
and became a better introverted me

Yes I did.

All I ever wanted was to fulfill my dreams
and I am not there yet
everything else is delaying this it seems
and I ‘m stuck

Pursuing the Choice to Change

the dream is far from getting real
and started to lose its glory appeal
I am left with a dream in my mind
but the strength to realize it seems hard to find

my body is becoming more and more weak
my spirit is slowly getting used to the easy life’s trip
and wants to settle down and change direction
get some rest; enough of this freedom persuasion

the mind however insists on saying no
I have to walk until the end of the road
finish what I started and get what I want
have the choice to change any way I feel like
because now I don’t

Mistake

big mistakes, life, misery, mistakes, payback, poem, poetry

you knew it would come to this
you knew but you moved on anyway
you were saying goodbye to bliss
and you chose the wrong decision to take

Life is that way you know and whether good or bad
it is clear to you there’s no way of turning back
and all that remains is the good times you had
until it is time for your mistakes to pay back

Payback time and you have to suffer
as soon as you accept this the sooner you recover
the sooner you find the strength to confront them
the sooner you decide when payback is finally over

Unless you think there is still hope inside
hope to make things right and relieve yourself
from misery, depression that lead you to mental suiside
no matter how bad never allow that to yourself

And then you remember yourself going wrong
you thought it was wrong the moment you did it
but you fell for it again knowing it won’t take long
for you to regret about it and think you can fix it

Mistake that haunts you for life and even more
it’s right here to remind you of when you went wrong
so that you don’t do something stupid like before
but you had the chance once and the next one to come
might take long

we lied on the ground
we moved carelessly around
we tried to be happy with each other
with everything else we didn’t bother

you were smiling all the time
you were close to becoming mine
you said we had something to be proud of
you could see that I was happy because of

I had dreamt of this a while back
I forgot about time until it got dark
I never wanted to leave from there
I never stopped dreaming about us being there

we realised it was time to leave
we could hear by then each other breathe
we never thought about this before
we hoped that after this there would be more

depression, down, hard times, minimal, misery, poetry, unfortunate, unhappy, worst times

worst has been this year
worst has come with fear
worst got used with no tear
worst so fucking clear

worst like never before
worst right outside my door
worst make you kneel on floor
worst I want no damn more

worst from doing nothing wrong
worst hopefully not for long
worst that can turn you strong
worst not willing to confront

worst beyond perception
worst at its inception
worst wishfully a deception
worst an unfortunate reception

worst times
worst resides
worst collides
with our lives

In Pain

How does it feel to be in pain
and not being able to do something about it
when nothing happens when you just shout it
in the mind comes the thought everything’s in vain

how does it feel when it’s your own fault
that you are now in pain and you are hurt
cannot do something simple like cleaning the dirt
off the corners of this web in which you are caught

Clearing your mind this time won’t help
you can’t control this but you regret
the time you thought you could win this bet
this is something you cannot reset

Wait! That’s all you have to do now
for things to get better and pain to fade away
it doesn’t make much sense but it’s the only way
even if it doesn’t feel like it is now
