Here’s to new beginnings
for one more time
another try to succeed
another try to survive

Need to reform, no excuses
nothing to complain for
the obstacles from the past
can hold me back no more

I ‘ll put myself together
I ‘ll get on track
this is a promise to myself
there’s no going back

It’s tough to break up
even if it’s the right thing to do
when saying “this can’t go on”
some guilt is overcoming you

She’s too good to deserve this
and I ‘m too bad to deserve her
and this conflict can get disturbing
unless I get to tell her

Perhaps it’s bad timing for me
perhaps it’s just me being too demanding
either way this can’t go on like this
it’s always tough to be the one ending

… it! Sorry Josie!

The Last Walk VI: Aftermath I

Accepting that someone has gone away forever
takes years of inner grief and recovering from the shock
but you really have no other choice but just remember
the good times on which your mind automatically puts a lock

And once this lock applies you never forget
they just keep coming back at you at times
not necessarily a bad thing to happen so no regret
but it feels weird and sometimes brings cries

Come to think of it there’s no harm on me
that last walk has been for 6 years a motivation
and even though I haven’t done anything to show me
at least I remember our last day of pure inspiration

And now it’s starting to push me into new beginnings
but there’s no pressure or false persuasion of mind
perhaps if I push a bit will lead to a few winnings
this optimistic sense of hope, is what I need to find

The last walk remains deep inside as an aftershock
it may be frozen for now but it will come back up
I can feel it already starting to push away shellshock
point is I haven’t reached the point yet to give up

You ‘ve failed to move on
for years and years now
and you are still holding on
still trying to make it somehow

Have you considered changing course?
seems like you are heading wrong
of all your beliefs, do’s and don’ts
continuous adaptation should be on top

Don’t force yourself not to let go
changing plans doesn’t mean giving up
you need to be adaptable you know
if moving on keeps failing try moving up

I seek no revenge for it is always my mistake
That I haven’t considered that happening
Instead,
I learn from it and move on

In this life,
Chances are,
I‘ll be in a similar situation sooner than I will most likely foresee

After all,
Everything is a matter of management
And in order to manage a situation
You have to know beforehand and be ready
For all possible and impossible outcomes

Stress of Loneliness

I ‘ve heard about loneliness
Once upon a time in life
They said it’s bad to be alone
No one wants that either

I ‘ve travelled through mindsets
And found out about that fear
Everyone is alone in the end
why everyone is afraid of accepting it?

And now, I can’t be alone
I cannot be alone

brother, existential, family, friend, help, human, humanity, life, mental, nature, personal

how do you convince someone
who’s been through hell
to start living again?

what if they can’t see?
what if they can’t feel?
what if they don’t see real?

and then what if they refuse?
what you perceive as a problem
is an every day struggle to them

they don’t need your pity help
just leave them in their misery
No! their ground is too slippery

why are people minds stuck like that?
a lot of questions and no answers
it’s hard to reach a solution on others

each mind is different too
you can’t predict much ahead
especially when out of their head

there’s got to be a way to change
as long as it takes overcoming the strife
I need to convince on coming back to life

New Life

What does it mean “new life”?
What happens to the old one?
How do you define old and new?
Questions that need no answers really

New life means decisions take place
it also means huge changes from now on
it means that situations have grown you older
not just older but wiser too

So “new life” means new perspective of future
not what you had in mind all this time
For good or for bad, not under your control
But definitely a matter of perspective

Who’s in it? Who’s not and why?
Well I guess some remain, some fly away
“new life” is just the way it is
a new way of living for the rest of our lives i.e.

Time to see where it goes from here…

It’s really hard to believe
FIVE years since then
still dead
inside

Things haven’t changed much
just another person gone
nothing yet done
empty too

Still remember that walk
did nothing of what we said
though plans not yet dead
harder to begin

Life, Death, missing a friend
beyond the point of grief
cannot reach relief
ever

Empty
The place is empty
not the same anymore
just walls and chairs
things left with no soul

Memories
The things bring backmemories
what’s left of them at least
as time goes by they become unclear
except her presence

Missed
Missing her already of course
but she’s gone for this life’s ever
she’s off to a better place
left her smile in my mind for goodbye
