The world is a marketplace
only those with money win
sometimes is about face
going opposite rather than begin

There’s the AI threatening too
it’s open to the people to use
there’s nothing however to do
troubled about the future cues

The ups and downs of routine
we created new life to begin
collecting all our pieces back in
there is still some hope within

It’s that time of the year
when you need more gear
and you don’t really need it
it’s just greed demanding to feed it

You are short of time and money
once again at the same spot honey
and now it’s the time to create
don’t you even try to sedate

Start now you need no plan
go wild and have some fun
will the creation be good or bad?
you really shouldn’t worry about that

The Muse Within

So many things need to come out of my head
so much music ready to be unleashed into the world
the sense of creativity this time has reached level red
and I am alone in the studio as if I do not want to be heard

I have played and replayed this inside my mind
I think I ‘m ready but maybe I ‘m not, who’s to decide
the art has to be released, for other people to find
this kind of self esteem needs not to be denied

Is it the right time or is it not? nobody knows for sure
it’s just a matter of a brave move, you have to believe in
the hesitation is normal, the publicity you have to endure
once you show to the world the muse that comes from within

Floored

a break from everything, floored, inspiration, life, new things, on the floor

Nine years later I find myself down on the ground again

And I realised not many things have changed since then

But nine years is a lot of time if you think about it really

A lot of things have changed, you just didn’t realise it silly

In the advent of things that will change your life for good

You didn’t get to play with them enough, you stayed put

Waiting for the next ones that will come and lift you up

You are still on the wait because you do not notice it love

Nothing to worry about probably it’s just the way you are

Down on the ground, physically and mentally, waiting from afar

Where are you?

condemned, inspiration, life, love, where are you?

Where are you God damn it?
What’s taking so long?
For you to show up in my life
and tell me that I am wrong

Who’s holding you back?
Who’s keeping you away?
From coming right at me
and rock me all the way

Why haven’t I found you yet?
How’s this for a sign?
To show yourself to me
and let me make you mine

Strange Moment

there are thoughts inside my head begging to come out
they are trying to become words in my mouth to shout
they force me to help them and don’t let me calm down
but they are not ready yet
not ready to come out yet
otherwise I ‘d had known
you would have known

if thoughts haunt your mind and don’t let you breathe
help them get out of you
if whispers are calling you and you don’t let them in
they ‘ll scare the hell out of you
halt and embrace them
give a chance to them
to help you help yourself survive the storm coming at you

if shadows haunt you at night stop and don’t be afraid
they have something to show you
if voices are mumbling in your mind stop and don’t shut them off
they have something to tell you
pay attention to them
listen to them
at some point in your life you will realise they ‘ve been right
