Stolen

bad, bad luck, life, stolen things

My things… lost
it’s not just the cost
it’s a certain pride
of having them by your side
feeling vulnerable
feeling invaded
pride and things stolen

Someone… was here
and left me with a fear
the room is different now
doesn’t feel mine anymore, how?
feeling angry
feeling disgusted
in my empty room empty hearted

happiness, happy, life, optimistic, poem, spontaneous, today

Today I ‘m happy
for I have sung
my own creation

Today I ‘m happy
for I have felt free
even for a while

Today I ‘m happy
for nothing has changed
except for me

Today I ‘m happy
for I have found her
yet we cannot be

Today I ‘m happy
for she sung with me
my own creation

Birthday

what’s in a birthday?
can’t see why it ’s a special day
not much different from any other

what if I don’t celebrate?
I could choose some other date
celebrate on any day but why bother

who would mind?
I really didn’t think she ‘d mind
I ‘ve always told her I ‘d pick another

why would she cry?
this birthday is selfishly mine
this birthday I ‘d like to smother

The Last Walk – Sorrow

high hopes, last walk, life, xen

we ‘ve reached the number three
the memory of a walk still relies in me
of course, how can I forget

what we talked about is still there
ideas floating in my head but no care
of course, nothing started yet

we ’ve reached the number three
it’s not as fun as it used to be
of course, there’s no bet

the last walk was supposed to be a start
but the end of it would set us apart
of course, life, enough said

To the Limits

there’s no other way you know
if you want to move forward
you have to push yourself to the edge
but in that way you will walk alone
that is the real sacrifice
it’s not enough to forge yourself with a sledge

a sledge that comes in different forms
be it death, be it life, be it experience
you have to control yourself before it exits
sometimes you have to deviate from norms
for in order to become better
you need to push yourself to the limits

There’s No…

there’s no school to teach you life
you usually learn this the hard way
though you always hear the elders say
that’s entirely your own personal strife

there’s no feeling to teach you sanity
feelings keep you from being rational
feelings turn you dysfunctional
and you are losing touch with reality

there’s no life to teach you death
it’s something you learn to get by
you just accept that we will all die
and maybe understand it after your last breath

Time, Life and You

time is moving fast
things are running slow
the moments you want to last
they ‘re gone before you know

in case you decide to follow time
stop for a while and look behind
don’t forget how to live along the line
time for everything you ‘ll never find

stop wasting your life and live
you ‘ve taken your time to build skill
the chance is there to yourself to give
move as fast as time goes if you will

push yourself
it’s the only way to go forward
keep training yourself
as time only moves forward

give it time
to make it
take your time
to enjoy it

Course of Life Crisis

see how life has turned you
when you found out it’s hard
it’s hard to reach your goals
which are not the same you once had

one of them still remains
independence, to live free
you ‘re moving away from it
as you grow older you see

dependencies are multiplying
as you move along the line
time is getting less and less
you still have to do what’s left behind

it’s getting you tired each time
you realise that this is true
it’s getting you even more tired
to know there’s nothing you can do

time to accept that it is hard
hard to follow your dreams
and be on time for everything else
impossible now it seems

NO! It’s not the time to accept
it’s time to re-organise
your life, your goals, your dreams
and carefully prioritise

then move on with a clear head
and keep trying until the end
and when you reach this point again
come back and read this again and again

Re-start Learning

change, failure, focus, goals, learning, life, mind, new things, poem, poetry, success

You need to keep learning new stuff
you cannot rely on the things you know forever and that’s tough
because things change and you need to catch up
don’t be relieved with the things you ‘ve learnt so far

It seems that you feel you ‘re getting older
and as a matter of fact you indeed are
but you need to keep learning new stuff
otherwise you let yourself fall back

If you feel you ‘re on top of the world
guess what? you are most probably not
chances are you are on your way down
and your mind’s distracted no doubt

You think and you feel there is no time
to learn new things or at least try
but the weird thing is that you never had
it’s just that now the excuse doesn’t sound that bad

You almost had believed it but something felt wrong
and then you realised it had been wrong all along
because you are not there yet not on top of the world
you are somewhere behind and you need to move on

Your secret desire to reach your ultimate goal
had your mind fooled and thought you stood tall
but the road to freedom is full of traps like this
you are not there yet you are far from finding peace

Put your head together stay focused on your plan
don’t let your desires create the illusion that you are done
remind yourself it’s hard to reach a steady state of bliss
and you should never get tired or bored of learning new things

Numbers of Him Gone

21 Thursday Aug 2014

There must be something good
coming out of the bad
the bad happening of him gone

I think I have found it;
the good is in the numbers
the numbers will give me answers

It took me a long time to see
age and date of him gone is clue
a clue to me for the pre-planned dream to pursue

I believe that this is it;
the legacy left behind to fulfill the dream
the dream to set ourselves out of most things free

It’s a charming feeling of hope
the numbers seem they can lead the way
the way up above the obstacles that cause dismay
